Food Server Job Description


Job summary and mission

This position contributes to Bibillia by serving all the foods and beverages to the customers. This position plays an important role in Bibillia experience for our customers by constantly delivering absolute best customer service that welcomes everyone and creates a comfortable store environment.  


Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • All employees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully.

  • Maintain calm and focused during periods of high volume or unexpected events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team and the customers.

  • Anticipate the restaurant and customers’ needs by constantly evaluating environment and the customers for cues.

  • Assists new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and behave respectfully.

  • Promptly alert the manager/ supervisor of any suspicious activities and potential dangers that may negatively affect employees, customers, and the business.

  • Follow Bibillia operational policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize confusion and promote an efficient work environment.

  • Provide quality food and beverage for the customers by closely following directions. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

  • Always be well-groomed.

  • Keep the front of the house clean by cleaning the table after each and every customer.


Summary of Experience

  • No previous experience required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.

  • A team player with a bright and positive personality.

  • Follow the directions and requests of the supervisors and customers carefully.

  • Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.

  • The ability to speak multiple languages is a big plus.



  • Ability to speak and write English fluently.

  • Ability to learn quickly.

  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification if necessary.

  • Physically capable of lifting heavy items.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Ability to build relationships.

  • Must be at least 16 years old.

  • Willingness to help customers with disabilities access the restaurant with ease, including help with operating the handicap elevator.
